The biggest mistake that I made in my life coming from inexperience was that I was listening to get my point across instead of listening to understand. We all have been guilty of doing that in our lives.
Every individual likes to always talk about themselves. It’s only human nature. According the book “Millionaire Success Habits” by Dean Graziosi, Graziosi discussed how relationships and business fails because of the inability to understand others because individuals are more caught up in being understood.
Then you will understand what is right and just and fair– every good path..
This very moment forward. I seek to understand more than I seek to be understood.

I’ve had a lot of doors close in my life.
Some doors closed right in my face.
At times, the doors closed; because, I never had the key to open it.
Other times, the door wasn’t for me to open in the first place.
Whether it’s in our careers, relationships, or all aspects of life, we’ve all had doors slam in our face. If not, then the person is either lying or has never been through the depths of adversity.
Some knock on the same doors for years and the door never opens, while others knock on the same doors and the doors opens within minutes.
The most common responses are the following:
That door wasn’t for me…
There’s new door specifically for me
You wait and wait and wait and wait and wait… Patiently
Door never opens…
You take Action and sometimes force the issue..
Door never opens..
Years go by. You go through door after door after door after door…
Door never opens...
Then, you ask yourself.
What if I’m not supposed to open doors?
What if I’m supposed to create the doors so others can open them for me?

I am utterly disgusted by the acts of hatred, bigotry, & racism that were practiced in Charlottesville, Virginia on the eve of the “Unite the Right” rally.
According to ABC News, there were supremecists carrying around pitchforks stating “White Lives Matter”,”You Cannot Replace Us”, and “Blood and Soil”, a quote generated by Nazis during the Hitler Administration. Sources say that 19 people were injured and one killed on August 12th, 2017 in Charlottesville, Virginia.
It’s disrepectful to our forefathers who fought for our freedoms such as Martin Luther King, Macolm X, and the Civil Rights Movement. Its also disrespectful to Ulysesses S. Grant and Franklin Roosevelt who were essential to the demise of the Confederates and the Nazis.
These acts of hatred by protesters were cowardice and brought back a history that we worked so hard to move past.
I honestly do not know what to think right now; however, i do know that love is stronger than hate.
God does not like ugly.
Regardless of all the hatred & inequality, i pray to God that love will prevail and have faith that things will change for the better and for America not to revert back to its old ways.
If this country has reverted back to its ways, I pray that people open their eyes to see that this problem is bigger than all of us and needs to be addressed; because it can neutralize everything that this Country has worked so hard to obtain.
