Letting Things Go

Letting go of things at times can be difficult. Well, I know it is for me, but I can’t speak for everyone else. I watched a television show today called “God Friended Me”. It was about a young man, who is atheist, that received a friend request from the God account that connects him to […]

Listen to Understand, Not to Be Understood

The biggest mistake that I made in my life coming from inexperience was that I was listening to get my point across instead of listening to understand. We all have been guilty of doing that in our lives.

Every individual likes to always talk about themselves. It’s only human nature. According the book “Millionaire Success Habits” by Dean Graziosi, Graziosi discussed how relationships and business fails because of the inability to understand others because individuals are more caught up in being understood.

Proverbs 2:5

Then you will understand what is right and just and fair– every good path..

This very moment forward. I seek to understand more than I seek to be understood.

Decision along with Vision

As an individual, we all make tough decisions that will change the whole aspect of our life & career for our own personal growth. Checked by Christ

Everyone gets checked by God whether you’re a Christian or non-Christian.

It’s mainly up to you whether you decide to listen or not.

My checking experience from Christ happened when I was driving down the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu for a workout the other day.

Christ told me: “The reason why you’re not where you want to be right now is not because you’re not working hard enough or praying enough, it’s because of your Envy.

You see, it’s a very humbling experience when God calls you out on your garbage; especially at times when it doesn’t feel very pleasant.

People mistake envy and jealousy, but they’re completely different.

Jealousy is when you already have something but feel threatened that you might lose it, whether it be a relationship or possessions.

Envy is when you feel that you lack but you have more than enough. It’s in the same relative as Greed. In a way, it’s worse than Jealousy because it’s one of the 7 Deadly Sins.

In conclusion, there will come a time where Christ will check you like he checked me. For some, its already happened. It’s up to us whether we want to listen or find out the hard way. I’m not no saint; but I’d rather choose to listen than be behind the wrath of one of the 7 Deadly Sins…

Eye on the Big Picture

If you look at the picture, pressure washing doesn’t look like a glamorous weekend job; especially after completing an M.B.A. and an B.S.B.A. program.

However, this is the reality of many graduates coming out of college. The ideal scenario is to finish school, find a good paying job in their field, and you’ll be set for the rest of your life with 401k, compensation package, and Social Security.

Why take a second job, especially pressure washing?

Times have changed and you cannot just rely on one level of income anymore and must find different streams of revenue.

By the grace of God, I was fortunate to have a weekend job with one of my best friend’s businesses, pressure washing trucks for manufacturing businesses.

With this job, i have a better understanding interacting with other companies for partnerships for more business. That insight would not be learned had i not taken the second job.

Why not invest in the U.S. stock market or Crypto-currency for passive income?

The U.S. Stock market, more than ever, is extremely volatile that you cannot rely on a quarterly business report without a news article affecting a stock based on strictly opinion, in a positive or negative way. Growth stocks can be an exception, which requires a long term investment.

Long term investments are great; however, it doesn’t help short term problems, such as monthly bills, student debt, Mortgage, or even a family to feed.

They all play a factor, but it’s attainable.

In conclusion, do what you got to do as long as you see the bigger picture.

Family and Photography

I never thought that this one piece of equipment could change my perspective on family. You always hear the saying that pictures capture more than a 1,000 words. To be honest, I thought it was an old cliche, until I bought this camera. It’s a Canon T6 Rebel, that you see above. Why did I […]
