Want vs Sacrifice

“Hard work beats talent, when talent don’t work hard”Floyd “Money” Mayweather

The biggest travesty is when you want to be great, but don’t sacrifice to be great. When you want to be great, you put in the work to a fault. When you sacrifice to be great, you do things that you don’t want to do but know you have to without having to be motivated by others to do it.

When you see the lifestyle of successful people through Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, you’re not seeing the whole side of the story.

In a way, it’s misleading to the public; because, the audience wants what they have without knowing the amount of blood, sweat, and tears that lead to the luxuries.

You view posts of Floyd Mayweather out in Dubai swinging over a skyscraper with stacks of money; but, you didn’t see two-a-days that he was doing at 3 am trying mastering his craft in boxing.

You see all the game-winners Kobe made; however, you don’t see the amount of shots that he put up in practice at 1am that lead up to those winning shots.

In my life in general, it’s great being around people that are motivated and motivate you. However, there comes a point in time to where you shouldnt have to be motivated to be great or do something, you’re doing it because you want to do it because it’s a lifestyle.

That’s not want. It’s Sacrifice…
